Apprenticeship Training Success

Recently employed team member Nathan has successfully started his scaffolding apprenticeship with SIMIAN. This apprenticeship course includes the training route to qualify as a CISRS Scaffolder and obtaining a CISRS Scaffolder Card.

Since joining with us Nathan has demonstrated a good work ethic and commitment, he has become a valued member of our team. We allowed Nathan time to familiarise himself scaffolding before putting him straight onto his apprenticeship. We believe it’s important to give trainee’s time to learn the very basics of scaffolding before embarking on the training they will be undertaking in college.

Nathan has just returned from an initial 2-week block release which has introduced him to the course, giving him an idea of what’s to come. We are excited to see the progress Nathan makes and look forward to supporting him in the best way we can throughout the apprenticeship.

HD Scaffolding is committed to providing opportunities for staff to grow and develop, regardless of what stage they are in their careers. We have another employee soon to embark on an apprenticeship later this year and soon will be recruiting a further apprentice to join our team. Beyond the apprentices at HD Scaffolding, we are looking forward to offering CPD opportunities to staff and employing some additional advanced scaffolders in the near future.

Congratulations to Nathan for embarking on this new stage in his development, take a look below at some of the work he managed to complete during his first block of training.
